Nigerian Army Opens 2026 Recruitment for Young Nigerians

The Nigerian Army has officially announced the opening of online registration for the 91st Regular Recruit Intake (91RRI), which will take place from March 30, 2026, to May 17, 2026. This recruitment exercise offers young Nigerians the opportunity to join the armed forces as soldiers.

Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria, including being single Nigerian citizens aged 18 to 22 years for non-tradesmen and women, and not exceeding 26 years for tradesmen and women by June 30, 2026. Candidates must possess a National Identification Number (NIN), a Bank Verification Number (BVN), and at least four passes in relevant subjects, including English.

Additionally, tradesmen and women must have a trade test certificate. The application process requires candidates to create an account on the Nigerian Army recruitment website, submit necessary documents, and attend a physical screening exercise scheduled for June 9 to June 23, 2026.

Successful applicants will receive an acknowledgment slip via email.
