WAEC Releases 2026 CB-WASSCE Results for Private Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) released the results for the 2026 Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (CB-WASSCE) for private candidates on March 27, 2026. A total of 10,523 candidates registered for the examination, marking an 11.49% increase from the previous year, where 10,480 candidates sat for the exam across 166 centers nationwide.

Of the results processed, 8,418, which is 80%, have been fully released, while 2,062 candidates, representing 19.68%, are still undergoing processing due to errors that WAEC is working to resolve. Among the candidates, 4,598, or 43.87%, obtained at least five credits, including English and Mathematics, while 3,429 candidates, or 32.72%, secured five credits in core subjects.

Candidates can check their results online via the official WAEC portal or through SMS using their unique result checker pin, which costs approximately N4,250.
