WAEC Releases 2026 WASSCE Results with 72% Credit Rate

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) announced the results for the 2026 First Series Computer-based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates. Out of the candidates, 8,418 had their results fully processed, while 2,062 had results pending due to errors. Additionally, 75 candidates had their results withheld due to reported cases of examination malpractice.

The examination was conducted from January 28 to February 14, 2026, across 166 centers nationwide, with special provisions made for candidates with disabilities. Candidates can check their results online and request digital or hard copies of their certificates.
