US Geoscientist Osayamen Imarhiagb Champions Sustainability

Osayamen Imarhiagb, a distinguished geoscientist based in the United States, is making significant strides in sustainable engineering and environmental protection. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in geology from the University of Benin, Nigeria, and received the prestigious NDDC postgraduate foreign scholarship in 2016 to study abroad.

Currently, he maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA at the University of Texas Permian Basin, focusing on palynostratigraphy and fossil remains to identify energy resources. Imarhiagb works as an environmental scientist at Tetra Tech Inc in Midland, Texas, where he supervises geotechnical tests essential for oil and gas engineering.

His commitment to sustainability is evident in his participation in the 2025 SEG Evolve Energy Exploration Program, which aims to identify viable geothermal energy sources. Additionally, he has developed predictive models for groundwater quality, successfully reducing error margins in forecasts.
