Tinubu Launches Kuje-Gwagwalada Dual Carriageway Project

On Wednesday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu inaugurated a 7-kilometer dual carriageway linking Kuje and Gwagwalada in Abuja, Nigeria, as part of his administration's infrastructure development efforts. He acknowledged that the reforms have been tough but assured that they are laying the foundation for future prosperity.

Tinubu highlighted the critical need for improved road infrastructure to enhance economic opportunities and living conditions for residents in the area. The project, which includes solar-powered streetlights and proper drainage, aims to transform the lives of people in Kuje, Gwagwalada, and Kwali.

He urged residents to protect public infrastructure and support government efforts. Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike was also present, emphasizing the importance of addressing poor road conditions and ensuring that all communities benefit from development initiatives.

The first phase of the project is scheduled for completion within the timeline, with the second phase expected to be delivered by December 2026.
