Actress Kemi Afolabi recently shared her battle with Lupus in an interview with Doyin Kukoyi TV. She disclosed that at the peak of her health crisis, she struggled to eat, drink, and even relied on oxygen to breathe.

Afolabi had already purchased a burial site and written her will due to the severity of the autoimmune disease. Initially misdiagnosed, she eventually received the correct diagnosis after seeking treatment abroad.

The actress continues to manage her condition with daily medication and injections, as there is no known cure for Lupus. Afolabi now avoids prolonged exposure to light and limits her acting work to prioritize her health.

She emphasized the importance of seeking proper medical care and staying vigilant about one's health.
