Atiku Abubakar Condemns Adamawa Massacre, Urges Justice

Atiku Abubakar, the former Vice President of Nigeria, expressed deep sorrow regarding the recent massacre in Adamawa State, where gunmen attacked a market in Madagali and killed 20 people. In a statement released on Friday, he urged the authorities to double their efforts in bringing the perpetrators to justice.

Atiku also reflected on the deteriorating situation in the country, attributing some of the current challenges to the previous administration's actions, particularly during the formation of the Progressive Congress in 2014. He spoke during a press conference in Abuja, attended by various opposition party leaders, where he highlighted the need for a united front to confront the growing challenges facing Nigeria.

Atiku emphasized the importance of learning from past political alliances and maintaining focus on safeguarding democratic values, as he called for urgent action to save Nigeria's democracy.
