During a recent visit to his alma mater, Babcock University in Osun State, Nigerian afrobeat singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, shared his pride in being a graduate. He emphasized that graduating from Babcock University significantly influenced his career in the music industry.

Davido mentioned that not everyone who starts school finishes, highlighting the importance of his educational achievement. He graduated with a degree in Music from Babcock University.

Previously, he disclosed that his father had set a condition for him to pursue music: he had to complete his degree first. It was also during his time at the university that he met his wife, Chioma Adeleke.
