Osaka Confident of Grand Slam Success After Wimbledon Exit

Naomi Osaka stated her belief that she can win another Grand Slam title following her exit from Wimbledon, where she lost to Czech 10th seed Karolina Muchova with a score of 7-6, 7-4, 6-4 in the quarter-finals. This loss comes after Osaka had previously lifted four major trophies, including two Australian Opens and two US Opens, with her last Grand Slam victory being the 2021 Australian Open against world number two Aryna Sabalenka.

Osaka acknowledged that her performance at Wimbledon was disappointing, particularly after her previous semi-final loss to Amanda Anisimova at the 2022 US Open. Despite the setback, she expressed a positive outlook, noting that she felt she had improved as a player and was eager to compete again.

Osaka, who took a break from the WTA tour after giving birth to her first child, reached the last 16 at the French Open last month, marking her furthest progression in a tournament since her return.
