Governor Eno of an unnamed state clarified during an appearance on Channels Television that his decision to leave the PDP for the APC was not sudden. He highlighted the benefits of aligning with the ruling party, citing the example of former Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Eno expressed his belief in the policies of President Bola Tinubu and praised his efforts to improve the economy since assuming office. He emphasized that Tinubu's support would be crucial for his state.
