Akpabio Urges Wike to Let PDP "Die Totally"

On Wednesday, Godswill Akpabio, a senator and member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), made remarks regarding the People's Democratic Party (PDP) during a speech at a road project event in Gaduwa District, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Akpabio expressed his surprise that the PDP still exists, suggesting that Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, should allow the party to "die totally." He indicated that the emergence of a recent PDP candidate had baffled him, stating he was unsure of the party's relevance.

Akpabio also commented on the performance of Wike as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, praising him for his work in Abuja and suggesting that he has outperformed his predecessor. He concluded by urging Wike to stop confusing members of the APC regarding the PDP's status.
