Papa Ajasco's Abiodun Ayoyinka Discusses Fame Struggles

Abiodun Ayoyinka, widely recognized for portraying the character Papa Ajasco in the long-running Nigerian comedy series produced by Wale Adenuga, has opened up about his struggles following his fame. In an interview with media personality Lucki Udu, Ayoyinka explained that he does not possess exclusive rights to the character's name or costume, which restricts his ability to engage in commercial projects outside the popular comedy franchise.

This limitation has prevented him from appearing in advertisements or brand campaigns, even though companies express interest in featuring him in his famous costume. Ayoyinka also disclosed that he retired from his previous role at the Lagos State Government's Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture five years ago.

Despite his extensive career and fame, he has faced significant difficulties in recent years.
