Ozigbo Explains Split from Obi, Joins APC for Progress

Valentine Ozigbo, who previously served as the Labour Party's governorship candidate in Anambra, revealed in a recent interview with Symfoni TV that he has ended his political relationship with former presidential candidate Peter Obi. Ozigbo expressed his unhappiness with the treatment he received within the Labour Party, which prompted him to reconsider his political direction.

He stated that he no longer wishes to spend time with individuals he perceives as unserious about political progress. Despite joining the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ozigbo clarified that he does not fully align with the party's governance approach but believes in the potential to effect change from within the system rather than remaining outside.

His decision marks a significant shift in his political journey, as he seeks to engage with more serious political actors.
