Former Minister Abdullahi Reveals Differences Between Saraki and Jonathan During Campaign

In a memoir titled "Loyalist Memoir of Service and Sacrifice," Abdullahi, a former minister under Goodluck Jonathan, disclosed the differences between Jonathan and Bukola Saraki during a campaign in Kwara State. Abdullahi recounted his loyalty to Saraki despite pressure to engage in personal attacks during the campaign.

He highlighted his refusal to participate in attacks against Saraki, which eventually led to his dismissal in March 2014. Abdullahi chronicled his relationship with Saraki, particularly during Saraki's transition from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The memoir sheds light on the power struggles and interests within the party that influenced Abdullahi's dismissal. Abdullahi also mentioned receiving messages suggesting his impending sack, indicating a turbulent political environment.
