In the video, he accused Accord Party members of attacking All Progressives Congress (APC) supporters and urged his audience to reject the Accord Party in the upcoming August 15, 2026, governorship election.

Fadahunsi clarified that his statement was intended as a metaphorical call for APC supporters to vote against the Accord Party through lawful and peaceful means, not as an incitement to violence. His media office released a statement emphasizing that he advocates for democratic values and peaceful electoral processes.

Fadahunsi urged supporters to maintain law and order and called on security operatives to ensure voters can exercise their rights without intimidation. He reiterated his commitment to issue-based campaigns and the importance of the people's will being expressed through the ballot.
