‘I Want You To Forgive And Forget Whatever Wrong I Have Done’ – Igboho Begs Ooni

During a visit to the Ooni of Ife's palace, Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho expressed regret for his past actions and pleaded for forgiveness. Igboho, who has been on the security watchlist since July 2021 for alleged arms stockpiling, lamented his inability to access his bank account and urged the monarch to intervene.

He also stated his readiness to help flush out criminals hiding in the forests of the region. In response, Oba Ogunwusi commended Igboho's commitment to the Yoruba cause, forgave his past verbal attacks, and promised to assist in lifting the restrictions placed on him by the government.

The Ooni emphasized the importance of unity and reconciliation in the Yoruba community.
