I was on vacation, not sick in London – Akpabio clarifies

Senator Godswill Akpabio clarified rumors about being critically ill abroad, stating that he was on a short vacation in London and not sick. He arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja looking healthy and energetic, dismissing reports of being hospitalized in London as mere imagination.

Akpabio explained that he had attended the Sixth World Conference of Speakers of Parliament in Geneva, Switzerland, from July 29-31, and then proceeded to London for a brief rest after a hectic legislative year. He assured Nigerians of his active legislative engagement upon his return to the National Assembly, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the executive, legislative, and judiciary branches for democratic governance.
