Gov. Sule Eyes Nasarawa North Senate Seat for 2027 Elections

Gov. Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State announced his interest in contesting for the Nasarawa North senatorial seat in the upcoming 2027 general elections.

This declaration was made during a visit to his deputy, Dr. Emmanuel Akab, in Gudi, Akwanga Local Government Area.

Gov. Sule indicated that he is under pressure from political leaders and stakeholders within the senatorial district to consider the race.

He mentioned that he would make a final decision after extensive consultations and that his move is driven by the need to ensure quality representation for the district. Additionally, Deputy Governor Dr.

Emmanuel Akab reaffirmed his loyalty to the state executive council and pledged continued support for Gov. Sule's leadership.
