Igboho Threatens to Name Politicians Behind Student Abductions

Sunday Igboho, a Yoruba nation activist, announced his intention to disclose the names of politicians he believes are behind the recent abduction of students in Oyo State. This statement was made during a meeting with the National Association of Nigerian Students in Ibadan.

Igboho criticized the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde for failing to effectively rescue the 47 students abducted during an attack on three schools in Oriire Local Government Area. He condemned the government's response, claiming that the state is not taking adequate measures to ensure the safety of its citizens.

The abduction occurred on May 15, when 45 pupils were reportedly taken. Igboho also mentioned the gruesome killing of a teacher, Michael Oyedokun, by bandits, which was captured in a video.

He emphasized the need for a proactive security approach, advocating for the establishment of the Iru Ekun Security Network to combat criminal elements in the region.
