Cubana Chief Priest Withdraws from APC Primary Election

Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, stated that he voluntarily withdrew from participating in the APC primary election for the Orsu, Orlu, Oru East Federal Constituency seat in Imo State. He made this claim through an Instagram story, contradicting an earlier video where he expressed regret for trusting party elders.

Okechukwu emphasized that he respected the party's leadership and chose not to proceed with his candidacy, despite having sought the APC ticket for the upcoming 2027 general elections. He acknowledged the party's zoning arrangements and the need for respect among party members, especially considering the previous service of Asiwaju Jerri Alagboso.

Okechukwu also dismissed social media commentary regarding his withdrawal as mischief and reaffirmed his loyalty to the APC, pledging to continue mobilizing support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027.
