Aisha Yesufu Critiques Tinubu's Aide Daniel Bwala

Aisha Yesufu, a human rights activist and politician, publicly criticized Daniel Bwala, a special adviser to President Bola Tinubu, during a political program on Channel Television. Yesufu's remarks came in response to Bwala's comments questioning the political strength of former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, suggesting that Obi had failed to remain in a political party long enough to participate in primary elections.

Yesufu dismissed Bwala's remarks, stating she had no intention of engaging directly with him, as she had previously chosen not to focus on his comments. She emphasized that her attention should be on pressing issues concerning the Nigerian populace, including government accountability and the need for improved living conditions across the country.

Yesufu reiterated that the welfare of citizens should be a priority for leaders.
