Grammy award-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy recently opened up about his past, stating that he would have become a suicide bomber or oil thief if not for music. In a video shared online, Burna Boy responded to a follower's question about what he would have been if not a singer, mentioning various options including stealing oil or being a prostitute.

The singer emphasized that music saved him from a potentially dangerous path. Burna Boy's success in the music industry was highlighted, with his recent collaboration with American rapper Gunna on the track "WGFT" debuting at number 96 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

This marks Burna Boy's seventh entry on the chart and makes him the first African artist to debut a song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for five consecutive years from 2021 to 2025.
