Ibom Air: Keyamo Confirms Indefinite Flight Ban On Unruly Passenger

Minister of Aviation Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, confirmed an indefinite flight ban on Comfort Emmanson, a passenger of Ibom Air, due to her unruly behavior. Keyamo condemned the release of indecent footage showing Emmanson's encounter with the airline.

He directed that whoever released the video among the staff must be sanctioned. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and the police promptly arraigned Emmanson in court for her criminal offense.

Keyamo emphasized the need for better coordination of security measures in such situations and called for a joint security meeting with relevant agencies. He also stressed the importance of training and retraining airline staff in handling potentially explosive situations.

Keyamo warned against taking the law into one's hands and emphasized the need to address grievances through proper channels. He also denounced the release of indecent footage as unacceptable and directed for strict sanctions against those responsible.
