ICSAN Lagos Elects Adebola Babatunde as New Chairman

Mr. Adebola Babatunde has been elected as the chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria (ICSAN). This announcement was made during the chapter's annual general meeting, where the outgoing chairperson, Ms. Efosa Ewer, reported significant progress in corporate governance advocacy and partnerships over the past year.

Ms. Ewer highlighted key initiatives introduced during her tenure, including Corporate Governance Week and regular professional engagements with members. She noted that the chapter has strengthened collaboration with professional bodies and improved its digital platform and membership system.

Sokunbi, another member, confirmed the chapter's stable financial position, which supports its operational programs. In his acceptance speech, Babatunde expressed gratitude for the members' trust and vowed to build upon the accomplishments of previous leadership while prioritizing enhanced governance advocacy in line with the chapter's goals.
