Lagos LG Chair Swears in New Supervisory Councillors

On Saturday, Surah Animashaun, the Executive Chairman of a local government area in Lagos State, conducted a swearing-in ceremony for newly appointed supervisory councillors and special advisers. Animashaun described the event as a defining moment for her administration, emphasizing the importance of serving the people and the commitment to impactful governance.

She reaffirmed her administration's dedication to a progress-driven vision, focusing on infrastructure development, youth and women empowerment, and community advancement. Former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, commended Animashaun's purposeful leadership and urged the new officials to support the administration's development agenda.

Wale Raji, a member of the Federal House of Representatives, and Abiodun Tobun, also a member of the Lagos State House of Assembly, expressed confidence in the new appointees, encouraging them to bring renewed hope to the community. The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including vice chairman Sikiru Owolomosh and former commissioner Ahmad Seriki.
