Idris Endorses Bago for Second Term in Niger State

Alhaji Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information, publicly endorsed the second term bid of Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, countering political speculations. During a visit to Minna to express condolences to the family of the late Chairman of the National Population Commission, Alhaji Aminu Yussuf, Idris pledged support for Bago's reelection.

He commended Bago's administration for its development initiatives and stated that the governor deserves continuity due to his commitment to transforming Niger State through the New Niger Agenda. Idris argued that Bago's second term would allow for the consolidation of ongoing projects and further development programs.

Additionally, he called for support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Renewed Hope Agenda, asserting that the federal government's reforms aim to improve citizens' living conditions. Idris emphasized the importance of a united APC for the 2027 elections.
