Kebbi Governor Launches 2026 Hajj Kits for Pilgrims

On a recent occasion, Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State inaugurated the distribution of 2026 Hajj kits for intending pilgrims at the Kauran Gwandu Hajj Camp in Birnin Kebbi. The distribution includes two sets of 23 kg bags, two sets of uniforms for men, and two sets of hijabs for women.

Governor Idris promised to sustain support for intending pilgrims and appreciated the leadership of the Kebbi Pilgrim Welfare Agency, chaired by Alhaji Faruku Musa Enabo, which has received several awards for its performance. He urged intending pilgrims to pray for President Bola Tinubu and the country's leaders.

The Kebbi Pilgrim Welfare Agency has been noted for leading the nation in the number of intending pilgrims. Each intending pilgrim will receive a total of 46 kg of luggage, and 12 flights will depart from Sir Ahmadu Bello International Airport directly to Madina.

The agency has successfully secured housing for intending pilgrims close to the Haram, located within 300 meters of the site.
