Kebbi State Distributes Hajj Uniforms and Bags to Pilgrims

On a recent occasion, Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris officiated the distribution of uniforms and travel bags to Hajj pilgrims at the Kauran Gwandu Hajj Camp in Birnin Kebbi. This initiative is part of the state's preparations for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage, marking a significant step in ensuring a smooth and coordinated experience for pilgrims from Kebbi State.

The distribution, supervised by the Kebbi State Pilgrim Welfare Agency, aims to cover both male and female pilgrims, enhancing their identification during the journey to Saudi Arabia. Faruku Yaro, the agency's executive chairman, emphasized the government's commitment to the welfare of pilgrims.

Governor Idris urged pilgrims to reciprocate the government's support by conducting themselves with discipline and representing Kebbi State positively. He also advised proper use of the distributed items to ensure comfort and proper identification throughout the pilgrimage process, which is part of broader preparations following the completion of the visa process for intending pilgrims.
