IGP Redeploys Police Commissioners to Imo and Plateau States Amid Bandit Attacks

The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Egbetokun has approved the transfer of two senior police officers to new positions in Imo and Plateau states. CP Audu Garba Bosso has been assigned as the new Commissioner of Police for Imo State, while CP Bassei Samuel Ewah will take over as the Commissioner of Police for Plateau State.

The communication was made through a police wireless message from the Force Headquarters in Abuja. The redeployment is effective immediately.

In other news, bandits reportedly killed a soldier and five residents in an incident in which three soldiers went missing. Additionally, bandits burnt down houses in the Sabon Gari community and looted shops.

The incident occurred on a Monday around 3:00 pm, with a youth leader named Wase Shapi Sambo confirming the attack.
