IGP Orders Redeployment of Senior Police Officers Across Nigeria

The Inspector General of Police has redeployed newly promoted Deputy Inspector Generals and seventeen Commissioners of Police to different strategic departments, commands, and units nationwide. The move aims to strengthen operational capacity, improve leadership, enhance public safety, and enhance service delivery.

Key redeployments include CP Aina Adesola to Delta State, CP Umar Moham Hajedia to Kebbi State, and CP Iyamah Daniel Edobor to Bayelsa State. The directive also involves deployments to specialized units like the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit and the Special Enquiry Bureau.

The reshuffle is part of efforts to optimize the Nigerian Police Force's effectiveness in maintaining law and order.
