Egbetokun Orders Last-Minute Redeployment of Officers

The former Inspector General of Police, Egbetokun, reportedly ordered a last-minute redeployment of senior officers within the Nigeria Police Force. This directive, communicated via a wireless message, resulted in the reassignment of Chief Superintendent Shem Dauwa Yahaya from the Inspector General's office and Assistant Commissioner of Police Yemisi Kuti from the command office at Protect Base 6 in Port Harcourt.

The order, which was effective immediately, also included the transfer of several other officers, such as CSP Guful Balmun Jibrin and CSP Martin William, to different commands and units across the country. The message referenced CH 5660 FS FHQ ABJ Sub 15 X and was widely distributed across the police structure, indicating a significant restructuring within the force.

The redeployment aimed to ensure that personnel records were updated to reflect these changes, impacting various specialized tactical and operational units.
