Celtic Clinches Scottish Premiership Title with Late Goals

On Saturday, Celtic FC secured the Scottish Premiership title with a dramatic 3-1 victory over Heart of Midlothian FC at Celtic Park. Kelechi Iheanacho played a pivotal role in the comeback, which saw Celtic score two late goals after trailing at halftime.

Heart took the lead in the 43rd minute through Lawrence Shankland's header from a corner. Celtic equalized in stoppage time of the first half with a penalty converted by Arn Engel after Kieran Tierney's cross struck Alexand Schwolow's outstretched hand.

The second half was tense until three minutes from the end when Daizen Maeda bundled the ball into the net, initially ruled offside but later confirmed by VAR. Celtic fans celebrated as they secured their 14th title in 15 years, having previously faced disappointment in 1965.

Heart's manager, Derek McInnes, expressed frustration over the late penalty decisions that affected the match outcome.
