Ijaw Leader Dr. Ambakederemo Advocates for Value Rebirth

Dr. Joseph Ambakederemo, an elder statesman and Ijaw leader, called for a value rebirth among Nigerians to address the country's development crisis during the launch of Egedegbe’s book, ‘Value Rebirth: The Pathway to an Egalitarian Society’, held in Warri. He stated that the development of Nigeria relies on the integrity, accountability, and responsible citizenship of its leaders and citizens.

Ambakederemo emphasized that the book challenges Nigerians to reflect on how their values affect the management and distribution of national resources. He warned that compromised values could lead to corruption and declining public trust.

He urged parents, teachers, and professionals to instill good character and ethical standards in the younger generation. Ambakederemo described an egalitarian society as one where justice is predictable and opportunities are accessible, requiring ethical leadership and collective responsibility.

He encouraged participants to engage with the book's message beyond the launch, advocating for the courage to convert Nigeria's potential into sustainable progress.
