Ijaw Nation Backs Tinubu, Oborevwori for Second Terms

The Ijaw Nation officially endorsed President Bola Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for their second terms during a grand reception held on Wednesday in Bomadi, Delta State. The event was attended by prominent Ijaw leaders, including Dr. Denni Otuaro, who praised Oborevwori's developmental strides in the Ijaw area.

The motion for endorsement was moved by Hon. Julius Pondi and seconded by Hon. Kenneth Oboro, with the vote led by Speaker Hon. Emomotimi Guwor. Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri also expressed gratitude towards Oborevwori for his contributions.

The endorsement highlighted the significant financial commitment of Oborevwori's administration, which reportedly spent N400 billion on development projects in Ijaw communities. Leaders urged the Ijaw people to reciprocate the support shown by Tinubu's administration, which has focused on impactful projects in the Niger Delta region.

The event emphasized the unity and commitment of the Ijaw Nation towards supporting their leaders in the upcoming elections.
