Adeleke Endorses Tinubu for Second Term in 2027

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State publicly endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in 2027, stating that his decision was driven by moral and developmental considerations. This endorsement was made during an inspection of ongoing construction between Ibadan and Ilesa.

Adeleke expressed appreciation for Tinubu's support of infrastructure projects in Osun State and the wider southwestern region. He indicated that his endorsement transcends party affiliation and reflects the collective interest of the Osun people and the Yoruba nation.

Adeleke emphasized that Tinubu, being a son of the state, deserves support and does not require persuasion for his re-election bid. He humorously noted that Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu claimed to be luckier than him.

Additionally, Adeleke disclosed that his administration has rehabilitated several federal roads and is seeking federal approval for further infrastructure projects, including the reconstruction of the Osogbo-Ilesa road. He also reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring free and fair elections in Osun State.
