Itsekiri Nation Endorses Tinubu, Oborevwori for 2027

The Itsekiri Nation officially endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for a second term in office ahead of the 2027 general elections. The endorsement took place at the Olu Warri Palace in Warri, where a grand reception was organized to honor both leaders.

The motion for endorsement was moved by Dr. Alex Ideh, who emphasized that continued leadership would consolidate the gains already recorded at the federal and state levels. The endorsement reflects the confidence of the Itsekiri people in the leadership and commitment of Tinubu and Oborevwori to the development of the region.

During the event, Oborevwori was conferred with the prestigious Royal Order Iwer Roi, the highest honor from the Itsekiri Nation, recognizing his contributions and leadership style. The ceremony was attended by various political leaders, traditional rulers, and prominent figures from the Itsekiri community, showcasing a united front in support of their leaders.
