I’ll change Nigeria’s constitution, end corruption in one month as President – Amaechi

Former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, declared his intention to change Nigeria's constitution and eradicate corruption within one month if elected President in 2027. Speaking at a political event, Amaechi also pledged to resign as President once he achieves these goals.

He criticized the current administration, accusing influential individuals of stealing money from the Central Bank of Nigeria to enrich themselves. Amaechi described the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Yakubu Mahmood, as the worst in history and promised to reverse the removal of subsidies by directing funds to the Nigerian people instead of the elite.

He emphasized the urgent need to improve the country's security and economy, highlighting the dire situation Nigeria is currently facing.
