PDP Candidate Nweke Promises Change for Enugu East

Chief Kingsley Chizoba Nweke, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Enugu East in the 2027 election, stated his commitment to revitalizing the region through effective representation. Speaking at a press conference on Monday at the Nigeria Union of Journalists in Enugu, Nweke expressed concern over the poor representation that has plagued his district.

He asserted that the time has come to change the status quo, emphasizing that representation should reflect the collective pride of the senatorial district rather than being an automatic entitlement for individuals. Known as ‘Odaa Opua’, Nweke highlighted his philanthropic efforts and youth mobilization initiatives, including sponsoring youth sports and empowering women.

He vowed to prioritize youth upliftment and correct past mistakes in governance, declaring that the time is now for Enugu East to rise again from its challenges.
