Ebonyi Private School Owners Seek 12-Month Grace to Meet State Education Standards

The Ebonyi State branch of the Nation Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPP) has appealed to the state government for a 12-month grace period to comply with school standardization criteria. The association expressed support for the government's efforts to improve the quality of education and address the proliferation of substandard schools, particularly faith-based institutions.

NAPP emphasized the importance of providing quality education to children in Ebonyi State and requested the government's cooperation in ensuring a smooth transition for affected schools. Felix Nomeh, the state chairman of NAPP, highlighted the need for private school owners to partner with relevant authorities to establish schools in line with approved standards.
