Portable Apologizes for Walking Out of Boxing Rematch

Street-hop singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, issued an apology to the organizers and fans following his abrupt exit from a celebrity boxing rematch against actor Charles Okocha. The rematch took place on Friday, July 31, 2026, but Portable left the contest after the first round, which disappointed many attendees.

In a statement released on Saturday by his management, Zeh Nation/Dr Zeh, Portable expressed regret for the situation, addressing the organizers, Balmoral Group, and all supporters who attended the event. The management acknowledged the disappointment stemming from Portable's decision to withdraw and requested that Nigerians respect his choice, emphasizing that emotions can run high in such moments.
