Report Exposes N15.07 Billion Fraudulent Projects Under Tinubu Government

A recent report by Tracka Budgit revealed widespread corruption in government projects under the Tinubu administration, uncovering 92 fraudulent projects valued at N15.07 billion. The report detailed cases of abandoned, incomplete, and substandard projects funded by the federal government across Nigeria between 2024 and 2025.

The analysis covered 2,760 projects in 28 states, with 57.1% of the fraudulent projects concentrated in Imo, Lagos, Kwara, Abia, and Ogun states, amounting to N8.61 billion. The report also highlighted issues in infrastructure projects like dams and primary healthcare centers, with delays, slow progress, and inadequate facilities affecting communities, especially in the Niger Delta region.

Despite receiving funding, several projects were either not started or left incomplete. The report also mentioned success stories of citizen engagement in improving project delivery, emphasizing the importance of civic monitoring, as stressed by Joshua Osiyemi, the head of Tracka.
