Nigeria's ANOH Gas Project Records First Gas, Boosting Energy Sector

The ANOH Gas Project in Nigeria has successfully recorded its first gas production, marking a significant milestone for the country's energy sector. Seplat Energy Plc announced the achievement, with the facility operating without routine gas flaring.

The project, a joint venture between Seplat Energy, Nigerian Gas Infrastructure Company (NGIC), and others, aims to enhance domestic gas supply and support industries. The gas produced will be utilized for power generation and industrial purposes, contributing to reducing gas shortages in Nigeria.

Plans are underway to increase production capacity and expand gas infrastructure to support further growth.
