During the 52nd annual national youth convention (Ijtema) held on Friday in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Mkan Al Hafiz Alaka, the nation president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organization, asserted that individual reform is crucial for Nigeria's socio-political stability and moral transformation. Alaka linked the country's development directly to the spiritual and ethical discipline of its youth, urging a shift from material pursuits to a life of service driven by love for Allah. He emphasized that true love for Allah requires prioritizing prayer and selfless service over personal gain. Maulana Adnan Tahir, representing the national president of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama Nigeria, Alhaji Abdul Alatoy, highlighted that the depth of one's faith is measured by their love for Allah, which should manifest through obedience, sacrifice, and humility. The convention featured various activities, including a medical outreach program, and aimed to reset the focus of Nigerian youth towards divine pleasure, steering them away from corrupt practices.
