Yomi Otubela to Chair 2026 Companies of Impact Awards

The Industry Newspaper has appointed Yomi Otubela as chairman for its 2026 Companies of Impact project, which annually recognizes Nigerian businesses contributing to economic growth and national development. The 2026 edition, themed ‘Building Resilience, Driving Growth: Nigerian Companies Shaping the Next Decade,’ will honor companies for their roles in resilience, innovation, job creation, and development across various sectors.

The awards and networking luncheon is set for August 21, 2026, at Lagos Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos. Yomi Otubela, who is the President of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools and the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lagooz Schools, will provide strategic guidance for the selection process and deliver the chairman’s address.
