Seyi Tinubu and Governors Nominated for Media Awards

Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, along with several governors including Douye Diri of Bayelsa, Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta, Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers, Uba Sani of Kaduna, Mohammed Umar Bago of Niger, and Agbu Kefas of Taraba, are among those recognized for the 2025 Aljazirah Nigeria/London Newspapers Awards. The awards, as stated by Ibrahim Abubakar, Chairman of the Award Committee, aim to honor excellence in leadership, integrity, innovation, public service, and visionary governance.

Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, Minister of Interior, is nominated for Minister of the Year for his transformative leadership, which has improved service delivery and national security. Seyi Tinubu is recognized for his entrepreneurship, philanthropy, and youth advocacy, particularly in educational support and community outreach.

Other honorees include Bashir Ojulari of NNPC Limited for his leadership in advancing Nigeria's gas ambitions, and Prof. Nnanyelugo Ike-Muonso for his contributions to raw materials development.
