Accord Party Rejects Imumolen's Claim as Chairman

The Accord Party has publicly criticized Prof. Christoph Imumolen, who recently protested at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Abuja, demanding recognition as the party's National Chairman.

Barr. Maxwel Mgbuden, representing the Accord Party, described Imumolen as a "political jobber" and a "clown" seeking personal gain.

The party emphasized that there is no court order backing Imumolen's claims, and he has been expelled from the party. They also noted that Imumolen's protest was unsupported by any legitimate faction of the party and that he failed to provide any evidence of a court order during his demonstration.

The Accord Party stated that Imumolen's attempts to mislead the public are misguided and that he remains a mere dreamer regarding his leadership aspirations. The party has taken legal steps to challenge any claims made by Imumolen, including filing a motion to set aside any fraudulent court orders he may have obtained.
