INEC Confirms Total Registered Voters for Anambra Election - PVCs Ready for Collection

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed the total number of registered voters for the upcoming Anambra Governorship Election. INEC revealed that voter registration was successfully completed across 326 Wards in Anambra State from July 8 to 20, 2025.

The Commission deployed the Automated Biometric Identification System (ABIS) to ensure a clean voter register. INEC disclosed that there are additional valid registrants on the voter roll, with the total number of registered voters in Anambra now known.

INEC assured that Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) for new registrants who transferred to the state will be ready for collection before the governorship election.
