Keyamo Critiques ADC's Emotional Blackmail Tactics

Keyamo, the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, criticized the David Mark-led faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for relying on emotional blackmail rather than addressing the legal challenges facing the party. He stated that the ongoing court case regarding the party's leadership should be prioritized over emotional appeals.

Keyamo highlighted that the faction's reliance on emotional arguments is a distraction from the substantive legal issues they face, which could lead to a situation where the ADC has no candidates for upcoming elections. He warned that until the court resolves the matter, any actions taken by either faction could become meaningless, especially with deadlines set by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for candidate nominations.

Keyamo urged the ADC to expedite their court processes and seek political agreements to prevent potential electoral issues, emphasizing that the law does not consider emotional arguments in its decisions.
