PDP Suspends Top Officials, INEC Acknowledges Suspension

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended key officials, including Samuel Anyanwu, and notified the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of the decision. The suspension was based on alleged anti-party activities.

INEC received the formal notice from PDP's National Working Committee (NWC) following an emergency meeting. The affected officials are directed to cease their functions, with interim replacements appointed.

The letter to INEC was signed by Umar Iliya Damagum and Taofeek Arapaja, among others.
