INEC Uploads 92.2% of FCT Chairmanship Election Results

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has successfully uploaded 2,602 of the 2,822 results from the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) chairmanship elections, resulting in an overall upload rate of 92.2% across six area councils. The highest submission rate was recorded in the Municipal Area Council, with 1,309 out of 1,401 polling unit results uploaded, representing 93.43%.

Gwagwalada Area Council had the highest upload rate among the six councils at 97.63%, with 330 out of 338 results uploaded. Bwari Area Council followed with a 95.46% upload rate, having uploaded 463 out of 485 results.

Abaji Area Council achieved a 95.56% upload rate with 129 out of 135 results uploaded. Kwali Area Council had an upload rate of 81.59%, while Kuje Area Council recorded the lowest at 79.01%, with 207 out of 262 results uploaded.

The upload process was completed by 5:55 AM.
